NBI Nova / Camaro Long Travel Shock Towers

Our NBI Long Travel Shock Towers are designed for 1968–1974 Chevy Novas and 1967–1969 Camaros, allowing you to keep a stock-style front suspension while gaining more shock travel and tuning capability.

The setup allows the use of 19" shocks and taller, lighter 14" springs, helping create more stored spring energy and giving you more control over your front suspension setup. With the proper shock and spring combination, you can achieve approximately 8.25" of suspension travel.

The towers bolt onto the chassis and are sold as a driver and passenger side pair with installation hardware included. Welding the brackets to the frame is recommended for additional strength and durability.

Spring pocket modification is required to make room for the longer shocks and springs.

The brackets stand approximately 8" off the frame and angle outward to provide wheel well clearance. They are designed to clear LS truck manifolds and most up-and-forward headers.

Shock Requirements

• Approximately 12.5" compressed height, ±0.5"

• 18.5" or longer extended height

• Designed for use with 14" springs
